2015-2016

Opened up the season strong with a new personal best in the hammer throw at the All-UC meet throwing 171' 2" and jumping into the all-time list at #8. Bested that mark by throwing 180' at the Aztec Invitational and then proceeded to throw even further less than a week later with a 183'1" at the Bruin Legends of T & F Invitational, bumping her up to #6 on the all-time list. Finished her breakout season by scoring at the Big West Championships for the first time in her career with a 6th place finish in the hammer with a 182' 10" throw. 

2014-2015
Nestor capped her indoor season with a 53'1.5 toss in the weight throw. She placed third in the hammer at the All-UC and placed fourth in the Big West Double Dual with a throw of 160'9. Nestor placed third in the hammer and shot put at the Cal Poly Dual, hitting a lifetime best in the shot of 41'8.75. At the Big West CHampionships, Nestor placed 16th with a lifetime best hammer throw of 162'10. 

2013-2014
Nestor opened the outdoor season with a 38'4.75 performance at the Cal Nevada Championships in the shot put. She threw a mark of 138'8 in the hammer at the Cal Nevada Invite. Nestor threw 38' in the shot put at the Cal Nevada Invite. Placed second in the shot put at the Cal Poly Dual, throwing 37'2.25. Threw a seasons best in the hammer of 140'1 at the Oxy Invitational.  

Prep
Competed in Basketball, Volleyball and Track and Field for the Sierra High School Timberwolves. Set Sierra Shot Put record and won best All-Around Athlete award her senior year. Won the shot put title at the Valley Oak League Championships her senior year.

Personal: Born in Manteca, Ca...Parents are Matsen Nestor and Garleine Jean-Pierre...Majoring in Communications...Enjoys watching movies and listening to music.
