Eric Boose is in his first year at UC Santa Barbara, joining the Gauchos from down the coast at UC San Diego.
Boose served as an Athletic Communications Assistant for the Tritons, where he was the primary contact for men’s tennis, men’s rowing, and the men’s and women’s track and field and cross country programs. He also served as statistician and official scorer for a variety of sports including baseball and soccer, and was the official scorer at the Regional and Super Regional rounds of the 2022 NCAA Division II Baseball Championship, hosted by Point Loma Nazarene University in San Diego.
Boose earned his BA in Communication Studies from the University of San Diego in 2021. Throughout his four years there, he covered Torero athletics as a writer and editor for USD Student Media. In 2020, he earned First Place honors in the collegiate division of the San Diego Press Club’s Excellence in Journalism Awards.
