Rob Antenore has been in the UCSB College of Letters and Science Academic Advising Office since December, 2011. A highlight amongst the responsibilities of his position is working with student athletes and the Intercollegiate Athletics Department. He feels passionately about supporting the program and student athletes however he can.

 

Rob has always had a love for competitive sports, particularly wrestling, soccer, and lacrosse. He considered wrestling in college, but ultimately wanted to attend UCSB. Rob is thankful this turned out to be a great decision. After graduating with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Philosophy from UCSB in 2004, Rob was grateful for the opportunity to stay in Santa Barbara and work for a local small business in the private sector. He was with the company for around eight years, starting in sales and then transitioning into management, serving as the operations manager for two branches of the company. However, his blue and gold pride runs deep, and he ultimately felt inspired to return to USCB and give back to the university that had provided such great opportunities for him professionally and personally. Rob is thrilled to be working with such great colleagues and to have a career he thoroughly enjoys and values.
