Sean Strauch was named Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance at UCSB in May of 2013.
Strauch monitors Gaucho recruiting, student-athlete employment, playing and practice seasons and camps and clinics.
Before being hired by Illinois State in 2010, Strauch worked as a compliance interna at the University South Carolina in 2007-08. He was a Compliance Coordinator at Georgia Tech in 2008-09 and a graduate assistant in compliance at Tennessee in 2009-10 In 2010, he moved into his role as Director of Compliance at Illinois State
A graduate of the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sport and Entertainment Management, Strauch also holds a graduate degree in Recreation and Sport Management from the University of Tennessee.
Strauch's hobbies include hockey, ping pong, slow pitch softball and tennis, and he is a big time fan of the Washington Capitals
A native of Fairfax, Va., Strauch and his wife, Vicky, whom he married in May of 2018, reside in Carpinteria.
