NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - The Cal State Northridge women's swimming team suffered a 121-76 setback to UC Santa Barbara on Friday at Matador Pool. The Matadors drop to 0-2 on the year while the Gauchos improve to 4-3 in head-to-head competition.

UCSB won 10 of the 11 events, led by Ashley Yamahata's two victories. Yamahata won the 1000 Freestyle (10:38.85) and the 200 Butterfly (2:09.79).

UCSB swims again December 1-3 in Austin, Texas at the Texas Invitational.
