RiVERSIDE, Calif. - UC Santa Barbara will need to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Big West Tournament when it hosts Cal Poly next weekend in Santa Barbara.

The Gauchos (17-3 overall, 11-3 Big West) dropped a 68-52 game at UC Riverside (11-7, 6-4) on Saturday night, setting the stage for the clinching game at home next weekend.
