Box Score MALIBU, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara women's soccer team (1-4-2) lost 3-0 to No. 13 Pepperdine on Sunday afternoon at Tari Frahm Rokus Field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Pepperdine's Trinity Watson scored in the 11th minute of play to go ahead 1-0.
- The Waves followed it up just over a minute later at the 11:14 mark when Joelle Anderson scored on assists by Tori Waldeck and Kam Pickett.
- Ten minutes after halftime with 55:51 elapsed, Calista Reyes put a third goal on the board for the 13th-ranked hosts via Anderson and Kailee Gifford.
NOTABLE
- The Gauchos had two shots, both of which were on target. Senior midfielder Lauren Moss earned the first in the 66th minute of play, while freshman forward Alyssa Irwin had the second in the 89th.
- UCSB freshman goalkeeper Taylor Little made four saves in her first career start, all of which came in the second half.
