LOS ANGELES, Calif.— The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Saturday afternoon dropping a neutral match to Utah 4-1.
How it Happened
- The undefeated Utes came out strong in doubles grabbing a court three win before the doubles team of Phillip Jordan and Kai Brady iced the round with a 6-4 win on court one
- Unfortunately for the Gauchos the Utes grabbed the court three matchup to go up 1-0 in the match
- Gianluca Brunkow got the sole singles win of the day finishing first on court six with a nearly perfect 6-0, 6-1 win over Bruno Krenn
- Utah then grabbed the top three courts to win the match 4-1
- Kai Brady held a lead on court five before play was stopped
