TULSA, Okla. – Pablo Masjuan was the lone participant in the All-American Championships for the UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team. Masjuan competed in the qualifying round on Monday, Oct. 2 and Tuesday, Oct. 3.
 
In the opening round of the ITA All-American Qualifying Bracket Pableo Masjuan took the court against Jeremy Schifris from Drake University. Masjuan would take home the victory as he defeated Schifris in straight sets, 7-6 (4) and 6-4.
 
After the victory, Masjuan competed in the round of 64 the following day. In the second round Masjuan took on Tanapatt Nirundorn from the University of Florida. The senior's tournament run would end there falling 6-3 and 7-6 (3) to Nirundorn.
 
The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team will be back in action this Friday, Oct. 6 as they host the UC Santa Barbara Fall Classic. The tournament will run through Sunday, Oct. 8.
