Women's Soccer Signs Eight in Early Signing Window

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Women's Soccer team has signed eight players to National Letters of intent, head coach Paul Stumpf announced today.

Mya Delaney, Ava Dermott, Devin Greer, Lacey Harnish, Ava Jarolimek, Isabella Ong, Caitlyn Simons and Kate Wilmering all signed National Letters of Intent and will join the UC Santa Barbara Women's Soccer program for the 2024 season.

"We are very purposeful about our recruiting process," explained Coach Stumpf. "When we decide to add someone to our program, we have seen the play on multiple occasions, have had them visit campus and we have done research on their character. We look for strong students with strong character traits, who also happen to be very good at playing soccer. These eight young ladies check off all the boxes and we are very excited about this group. We believe they have the ability to play, stylistically, in our vision of how we want to play.  Further, we hope that they will bring some qualities to the field that we need to help us win."
