HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos garnered the doubles-play point after a 6-2 victory on court one by the No. 67 ranked Phillip Jordan and Kai Brady. Following the win on court one, Gianluca Brunkow and Lucia Liu won 6-4 on court three to earn the doubles point for UC Santa Barbara.
As the match moved to singles, Kai Brady earned another point for the Gauchos on court six winning in straight sets, 6-1 and 6-2. Pablo Masjuan came back after dropping set one to win on court two and pick up the third point for the Gauchos. Gianluca Brunkow clinched the match with a three set victory on court four.
