DAVIS, Calif. (Saturday, April 8) - Coming off a stretch where they had won eight of their last nine games, the Gauchos fell for the first time in April, 4-3 to UC Davis.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The doubles point was fight between UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis. After the Aggies took the advantage winning on court three, the duo of Kai Brady and Philip Jordan evened the match up. Unfortunately, the point would go to UC Davis defeating UC Santa Barbara 7-6 (7-3).

The Gauchos quickly got that point back winning as Luka Mrsic won 6-4, 7-5 on court five in singles play. UC Davis countered with a win on courts three and four to gain a 3-1 lead. Kai Brady and Philip Jordan won their matches to even up the score at three apiece. 

The lone court to decide the match was court two. Pablo Masjuan dropped set one 6-3 before countering in set two with a 6-4 win. In set three Djakouris of UC Davis would take the set by tiebreaker winning 7-6 (7-5).
