SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (June 26, 2023) – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Volleyball team will see another new face to the lineup next season. The Gauchos will be adding Joe Wallace, Head Coach Rick McLaughlin announced today. 

Wallace bolstered the back row defense for Saint Francis High School and Bay to Bay Volleyball Club during his time with those teams. He will be coming to UC Santa Barbara from Orange Coast College. He is expected to make an impact for the Gauchos after playing as a libero throughout his career.

He will join the Gauchos' three other commits in George Bruening, Joshua Aruya and Alex Smits-Van Oyen as they replace the six Gauchos that graduated this past season.
