SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Basketball team announced their non-conference schedule for the upcoming 2024-25 season. This schedule includes 11 games with six of those being held in The Thunderdome.
The eighth season under Head Coach
Joe Pasternack will kick off on Monday, Nov. 4 as the Gauchos take on San Francisco State in The Thunderdome. From there, UC Santa Barbara will play their first road contest of the season at Portland on Saturday, Nov. 9.
Once they return, the Gauchos will spend the next week playing a pair of Mountain West teams. UC Santa Barbara will welcome Fresno State to The Thunderdome on Wednesday, Nov. 13 before traveling to Northern California to take on San Jose State on Sunday, Nov. 17.
Following that road contest, the Blue and Gold will play their next three at home. They will start off this home stretch on Wednesday, Nov. 20 as they take on the Miners of UTEP. During the week of Thanksgiving, fans can be thankful for food and Gaucho Basketball as they take on Eastern Washington on Tuesday, Nov. 26 before facing Mississippi Valley State on Friday, Nov. 29.
The Gauchos will take a short break from non-conference play for B0ld Week before coming back to The Thunderdome to take on Green Bay on Saturday, Dec. 14. UC Santa Barbara will follow that up with two-straight games on the road, taking on LMU in Los Angeles on Wednesday, Dec. 18 with a trip to Missouri State on Sunday, Dec. 22 to follow.
UC Santa Barbara will have one final tune-up before continuing with Big West play as they host Westcliff on Saturday, Dec. 28. The rest of the Big West slate will begin on Jan. 2.
