Gauchos Travel North to Take on UC Davis and Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. – UC Santa Barbara men's and women's swim take on Pacific on Jan. 18 at 12 p.m. From there the women continue up the state to square off against Big West member UC Davis on Jan. 19 at 11 a.m. 
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Gauchos are coming off a pair of third place finishes against Utah and UCLA. Samantha Banos won three events – continuing her trend of success in the butterfly this season. Kyle Brill highlighted the mens' performance, with three wins himself.

SCOUTING THE FIELD
The Gauchos and Pacific met in November at the Trailblazer Invite. Santa Barbara placed second after three days of competition while the Tigers earned a fourth-place finish. 
 
The Aggies only sponsor a women's team, who traveled to the Bakersfield Invite at the beginning of the season. The Blue and Gold ended in second place with UC Davis ending in fourth.
