SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Basketball team has announced its schedule for the upcoming 2025-26 season. This year, the home slate consists of five non-conference games and 10 Big West games, along with a road game against Mountain West foe Nevada and a neutral site game against future Big West member Utah Valley.
To kick off the season, the Gauchos will host San Francisco State on Nov. 4 followed by a game against the Spartans of San Jose State on Nov. 8 in The Thunderdome. UC Santa Barbara will then travel to Sacramento State for their first road contest of the season on Nov. 11.
The Gauchos will return to Santa Barbara to host LMU on Nov. 17 before hitting the road again to take on Nevada in Reno on Nov. 22. Fans can kick off Thanksgiving Week with the Gauchos as they host Nobel University on Nov. 24.
Santa Barbara wraps up the month of November in Las Vegas as they take part in the Resorts World Las Vegas Classic. The Blue and Gold will open the Classic against Lehigh on Nov. 28 and will play either Seattle or Texas State on Nov. 29.
To open December, the Gauchos will host Long Beach State and Cal State Bakersfield for The Big West's Bold Week before traveling to Salt Lake City to take part in the Salt Lake Slam, where they will play future Big West member Utah Valley in the Delta Center, home to the Utah Jazz.
The Gauchos will stay on the road as they travel to Green Bay, Wisconsin, to take on the Phoenix of Green Bay on Dec. 17. Five days later, Santa Barbara will play their final non-conference game of the year, hosting the Portland Pilots on Dec. 22.
As the calendar turns to 2026, the Gauchos will officially enter Big West play. For their first two games on Jan. 1 and Jan. 3, Santa Barbara will travel to Cal State Fullerton and CSUN, respectively. The Blue and Gold will return home on Jan. 8 to host UC Davis before hitting the road again, traveling to Cal State Bakersfield.
After having three of their last four games on the road, the Gauchos will return to the friendly confines of The Thunderdome to host Hawai'i on Jan. 17 and part one of the Blue-Green Rivalry against Cal Poly on Jan. 22. Following the short two-game homestand the Gauchos will hit the road for two games against Long Beach State and UC San Diego on Jan. 24 and Jan. 29 respectively.
As the Gauchos move into February, they will open the month at UC Davis on Feb. 5 before returning home to take on UC Irvine on Feb. 7. The following week, the Gauchos will hit the road for two games as they take on UC Riverside on Feb. 12 and finish off the Blue-Green Rivalry series in San Luis Obispo on Feb. 14.
The Gauchos will finish off their season alternating between home and away events for their final five games. Santa Barbara will host CSUN on Feb. 19 before taking a trip to Hawai'i on Feb. 21. The following week, the Gauchos will host UC Riverside on Feb. 26 before traveling to UC Irvine on Feb. 28. The Gauchos' final game of the regular season will be on March 7 as they host UC San Diego.

Joe Pasternack is headed into his ninth season with the program following the Gauchos' eighth consecutive winning season and their sixth 20+ win season. Season tickets for the 2025-26 season will go on sale on Monday, Oct. 6, at noon.
