LOS ANGELES, Calif. - The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis (11-3, 1-0 Big West) picked up a ranked win over the 72nd-ranked LMU Lions, Tuesday afternoon. After dropping the doubles point, the Gauchos swept one through four singles to take the 4-1 victory.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos got out to an early advantage in doubles after Diogo Morais and Lucca Liu won in the No. 2 position. The Lions knotted the match up with one doubles win aside after winning in the No. 3 position. Shortly after the Lions claimed the doubles point with a 6-3 win on court one.

As the match moved to singles the Gauchos tied the match at one after Morais earned a straight set victory in the No. 4 position. Dominique Rolland gave the Gauchos their first lead after a straight set victory on court two. After winning a tiebreaker in set one, Gianluca Brunkow dominated in set two and put the Gauchos up 3-1. Lucca Liu sealed the Santa Barbara victory after a three set win in court three.
