SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team will open its Super Six home schedule on Feb. 1, hosting South Florida at noon with fan festivities including a T-shirt giveaway and food and drink options.

LAST TIME OUT
The Gauchos return home after a successful weekend, defeating Pacific and No. 10 UCLA to punch their spot into the ITA Team Indoors Nationals. Big performances across the lineup fueled the Blue and Gold's momentum, highlighted by Lucca Liu being named Player of the Week in just the second week of the season.

UC Santa Barbara set the tone early by sweeping the doubles point and carried that momentum into singles, pulling away after UCLA briefly evened the score. Strong straight-set wins throughout the lineup, capped by Diogo Morais' clincher, powered the Gauchos to a statement victory to improve to 3-0 on the season.

ABOUT THE BULLS
Through four matches this season, the Bulls sit at a 1-3 record after facing a challenging slate at ITA Kickoff Weekend. They opened the event in dominant fashion with a sweep of Washington before falling to No. 4 Texas in the following round.

No. 28 Hugo Car headlines the lineup, while Timeo Gaillard and Stepan Mruzek have been a key doubles duo, starting the year undefeated at 2-0. The pairing was the only one to come away with a victory against No. 4 Texas. Head coach Ashley Fisher is in his 10th season leading the program in 2025-26 and has guided the Bulls to five NCAA Tournament appearances, including three trips to the second round.
