SANTA BARBARA, Calif. (Oct. 7) – The UC Santa Barbara Women's Volleyball team heads south this weekend for a pair of matches against Long Beach State and Cal State Fullerton. The Gauchos will face the Beach in the LBS Financial Credit Union Pyramid at 7 p.m. on Friday, and take on the Titans on Saturday at 2 p.m in Fullerton. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Gauchos stayed undefeated in Big West play, sweeping UVU and defeating Sacramento State on the road. Santa Barbara took the Wolverines in three, with Auburn Tomkinson making 15 kills with no errors on the offense. In an upset against the Hornets, Cortni Youngblood picked up an impressive 14 digs with UCSB taking the match 3-1.

OPPONENT OPTICS
LONG BEACH STATE
Long Beach is 3-1 in conference play after suffering its first loss to CSUN last weekend. The Gauchos are 6-4 over the Sharks in their 10 matchups, including a win in their most recent meeting on Nov. 8, 2025. 

CAL STATE FULLERTON
Santa Barbara has dominated the last 25 matchups against Fullerton, with the Titans entering the weekend with a 0-4 conference record. Fullerton is currently 5-12 on the season and 0-4 in conference play.
