SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — The UC Santa Barbara Women's Volleyball team has announced its 2026 spring schedule, returning to action this April for two matches following a strong Big West season last fall.

The Gauchos finished the 2025 season ranked No. 4 in the conference, ending with an impressive 14–4 Big West record and 23–9 overall.

They open spring play on Saturday, April 11 at 12 p.m. in the Thunderdome against Pepperdine in what will be a highly competitive match up. The last time these teams met, they battled neck and neck through four sets before heading into a decisive fifth, where the Gauchos ultimately fell 12–15. The Gauchos will be looking to bring added intensity into this rematch.

The following week, UC Santa Barbara will face LMU on Saturday, April 18 at 12 p.m. on the Lions' home court in Westchester, Los Angeles. The last official meeting between the two teams was in 2015, when the Gauchos fell just short in a 2–3 match. 

Although the matches will not be live streamed, fans can follow along and stay tuned for results.
