The Anteaters claimed the early edge by taking the doubles point with wins on courts one and two, despite a dominant 6-0 showing from
My-Anh Holmes and
Emma Tutoveanu on court three.
Facing a 1-0 deficit, the Gauchos responded with authority in singles, winning all six matches in straight sets to take full control.
Isabella Wong jumpstarted the comeback with a decisive 6-1, 6-1 victory on court three, followed by
Lily Pradkin's commanding 6-1, 6-0 performance at No. 4. Tutoveanu continued the surge with a 6-0, 6-3 win on court two, putting UC Santa Barbara firmly in front.
Caroline Beard delivered the clincher at No. 6, securing the match with a steady 6-3, 6-3 win to cap the comeback.

My-Anh Holmes added another point with a 6-3, 6-1 victory on court five, before
Ekua Youri closed out the afternoon with a hard-fought 6-4, 7-5 win at the top spot to complete the 6-1 team victory.
