RIVERSIDE, Calif. – The UC Santa Barbara Men's Tennis team continued its strong run of form Monday afternoon, earning a 4-0 sweep over UC Riverside at the SRC Tennis Courts.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Gauchos grabbed control early by locking in the doubles point.
Lorenzo Brunkow and
Diogo Morais got things moving with a 6-2 win on court one, and
Miguel Avendano with
Karel Fromel followed on court two, taking a 6-3 decision to secure the early 1-0 lead. The third court was left unfinished.
UC Santa Barbara wasted little time in singles, striking first from the top of the lineup.
Miguel Avendano delivered a dominant 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 1 to extend the lead to 2-0.
Karel Fromel added another point with a 6-1, 6-2 decision on court five, putting the Gauchos one win away from the sweep.
Matei Gavrea sealed the match at No. 4, battling to a 6-1, 6-4 victory to clinch the 4-0 result. Three matches were left unfinished following the decision, with all three Gauchos holding leads in their respective matches.
