SANTA BARBARA, Calif. – The Big West has announced the 2025 and 2026 Winter Academic All Conference Teams. 36 UC Santa Barbara Athletes received honors; 24 of which were swimmers. 12 men and 12 women were recognized for their academic success. Women's basketball was right behind with seven athletes honored. The 36 Gauchos who were recognized tied for third in the conference for athletes recognized.
To qualify for the Academic All Conference Team, athletes must maintain at least a 3.00 cumulative grade point average and have completed at least one academic year at their institution prior to when they are honored. Athletes must compete in 50% of their teams' contests throughout the seasons in which they receive the award. The 36 Gauchos who were honored are as follows.
