Mras Receives All-Big West Honorable Mention

IRVINE, Calif. — The Big West announced its 2026 Women's Water Polo end-of-season awards on Friday, recognizing UC Santa Barbara co-captain Cami Mras as an All-Big West Honorable Mention. The redshirt senior Mras was the Gauchos' veteran leader in 2026, both in the pool and out of it. She is now rewarded for her contributions with a first career all-conference honor before she graduates.

In the pool, Mras was Santa Barbara's top scorer, putting home 28 goals across 20 games, including four hat-tricks. In the Gauchos' win over Biola, she put home a game-high four goals, three of them in the first quarter alone. She tallied 11 of her 28 goals in conference games, leading the squad in Big West scoring as well. Mras scored multiple times in four of Santa Barbara's seven conference matches this season, including three at eventual conference champs Hawai'i. She finishes her career with 86 goals in 95 games in Blue and Gold, plus 24 assists for an even 110 points.

Out of the pool, Mras' teammates affectionately refer to her as grandma, the lone graduating student-athlete on the squad and a five-year Gaucho. Already a three-time Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Academic All-American, UC Santa Barbara Head Coach Emma Myall hailed Mras as one of the team's leaders academically, and her position as one of the team's three co-captains was voted upon by her teammates.

The Gauchos bowed out of The Big West Championship against the eventual winners, Hawai'i, with Mras scoring her final career goal in that match.
