Played 13 minutes while scoring two points and collecting three rebounds on Feb. 27 at Cal State Fullerton...Was 3-of-5 from the field and scored seven points in 18 minutes on Feb. 25 at CSUN... Has played 47 minutes in the last three games...The seven points at CSUN were the most since he had eight on Dec. 30 at Seattle...His 18 minutes played at CSUN were the most he had played since he played 21 on Jan. 9 at Hawai’i...After recording his first DNP of the season on Feb. 11 at UC Davis, Smith played six minutes in the Feb. 18 win at UC Riverside...Missed his only two shots, but had a steal and a rebound against the Highlanders...In addition to his DNP at Davis, he played just one minute on Feb. 6 vs. CSUF...Scored two points in 10 minutes vs. Hawai’i on Feb. 4...Had four points, three rebounds and two assists in Jan. 23 win over CSUN...Smith had four points and five rebounds in 21 minutes on Jan. 9 at Hawai’i....Scored a season-high 10 points in the Gauchos’ win at Washington on Dec. 28 and eight at Seattle on Dec. 30...Made 8-of-11 field goals in the two games in Seattle...Averaging 1.9 points per game...Made his second star t of the season on Dec. 21 vs. Akron, playing 19 minutes, but has come off the bench in the last 15 games...Played a season-high 27 minutes when he started the season opener vs. Omaha... Smith was born December 18, 1992 in Abbeville, La....The son of Odellia Smith...Roots for the Los Angeles Lakers...His most memorable sports moment was when his Abbeville HS team won a third round playoff game after his junior season...Hobbies include swimming, listening to music and laughing...Enjoys watching MTV, especially Wild 'n Out...Favorite movie is Ghetto Stories...Also compted in baseball and was part of a team that won the AAU 17 and under national championship in Florida...Hopes to major in anthropology.
