2024-25: Saw action in seven games for the Gauchos … dished out an assist in the season opener against San Francisco State (Nov. 4).
2023-24: Played in four games for the Gauchos this season ... had his best game at home against Bethesda (Dec. 9) where he put up four points and made two-of-three shots from the field.
2022-23: Saw time in three games for the Gauchos … made a big shot at the end of the game against CSUN (Jan. 19) on the way to a victory for UC Santa Barbara … also grabbed a rebound against San Diego Christian (Dec. 12) … member of The Big West Regular Season Co-Championship team and Big West Championship team that made it to March Madness.
2021-22: Appeared in 2 games in his freshman season, averaging 1.5 minutes and 1 point per game.
HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Mercer Island High School ... averaged 18 points and 12 rebounds per game as a senior ... First Team All-League junior and senior year ... finished just outside the Top 10 for all time rebounds ... team captain junior and senior year.
PERSONAL: Son of Anne Marie and Michael Pickles ... has a sister, Sarah, and a brother, Andrew, who also played basketball here at UC Santa Barbara ... majoring in economics.
