Duke DaRe is a walk-on who, because of injuries, was called on as a backup point guard during his freshman season...Saw action in 26 games and made one start...Averaged 11.9 minutes per game...Averaged 1.0 point, 1.2 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game...Scored a season-high eight points and made two of his four three-point baskets in a game at UC Riverside...Also had a season-high five rebounds at UC Riverside...Passed off for four assists against UC Davis...Produced two or more assists nine times.

HIGH SCHOOL
DaRe attended De La Salle High School in Concord, Calif., where he was coached by Frank Allocco… In the 2009-10 season DaRe and his team won the Bay Valley Athletic League title, were top 4 in the state, won the North Coast Section D-1 and went to CIF Northern California Regional D-1 tournament… In the 2010-11 his team was the CIF Northern California Regional D-1 champs his senior year… DaRe and his team again gained the title of champions of the Bay Valley Athletic League… De La Salle once again advanced to the California State Division I Tournament.
