Gabe Vincent was named Honorable Mention Big West following his outstanding sophomore season at UCSB...Averaged 14.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.2 steals per game...Led the team with 80 three-point baskets, the second highest total in school history...Vincent has a two-year total of 137 three-point baskets and he should enter the all-time top-10 during his junior year...Had a career-high 27 points and added a career-high seven three-point baskets in UCSB’s Jan. 14 win at Cal Poly...Scored 17 of the Gauchos first 19 points and, at one point, made five consecutive three-point shots against the Mustangs...Scored 20 or more points seven times as a sophomore, all during the season's final 21 games...Made four three-pointers and scored 20 points in the Gauchos' Big West Tournament win over UC Davis that extended the program's winning streak to nine in a row, the second longest in school history...Hit four threes and also tallied 20 in a win over Northern Illinois in a first round win at the Vegas 16, UCSB's first postseason win in 26 years...Vincent scored in double-figures 26 times in 33 games, including six straight to end the season...Had a career-best streak of eight consecutive double-figure efforts during the year...In addition to his career-best seven threes at Cal Poly, he made five in games at Hawai'i and vs. Cal State Fullerton...Vincent had four or more three-pointers 10 times, including a stretch of four games in a row at the outset of the Big West schedule...Over the four-game run, Vincent made 20-of-37 threes, 54.1%...Hit at least one three in 28 games and two or more 23 times...Collected a season-best six rebounds in two games, including one against Oregon State...Had five or more rebounds nine times...Vincent had a high of six assists in a win over Iona...Added five assists vs. Long Beach State, Cal State Northridge and at UC Irvine...Logged 1,055 minutes and 22 or more in all 33 games and 30 or more 24 times.

Vincent didn't disappoint in his freshman season at UCSB...Selected Big West Freshman of the Year...Averaged 10.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game...Was second on the team with 57 three-point baskets, the second most by a freshman in UCSB history...Scored a career-high 25 points in a Gaucho victory at Hawai'i...In the game against UH, Vincent made 5-of-8 three-point baskets...Also made five threes while scoring 15 points in an overtime loss at SMU...Tallied 22 points at Oral Roberts in the final game of the season...Scored 10 or more points 14 times in his 28 games and had 15 or more seven times...Made 57-of-137 three-point attempts, 41.6%, but if you throw out a 1-for-10 performance at Long Beach State, he was 56-of-127, 44.1%...Made 11 of his final 21 from outside the arc, 52.4%...Made at least one three-pointer 24 times in his 28 games...Hit two or more 18 times and three or more 11 times...Finished the year with 60 assists, 30 of which came in the final 10 games of the year...Had six assists in a home win over UC Irvine and followed that up with five more in a win at Hawai'i...After starting the first two games of the season and averaging 27 minutes per game, Vincent missed four full games with an infected blister and another game and a half with the flu...Ultimately, Vincent started 21 games, including the final eight.
