2024-25: Blossomed in his role as a full-time starter for the Gauchos in all 34 games … averaged 9.9 points per game and 6.0 rebounds while shooting 41.6 percent from the field … scored a career-high 21 points (including five threes) against Portland on Nov. 9 … recorded four steals against Cal Poly (Feb. 27).

2023-24: Appeared in all 31 games off the bench for the Gauchos … averaged 5.1 points and 1.5 assists per game while shooting at 35.6 percent from the field as a freshman … finished third on the team in made three point field goals with a total of 26 throughout the season while shooting at 33.8 percent … was also third on the team in assists and steals, racking up 45 and 19, respectively … clocked a season-high of 31:02 minutes at UTEP (Nov. 13) where he put up a season-high of 10 points and five made free throws ... tied his season-high of 10 points back in The Thunderdome against Cal Poly (Feb. 29), where he also racked up a season-high four assists. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Played basketball at Bella Vista College Prep … received First Team All-Conference honors … named the MVP at the Hoop Hall Classic … helped his team earn a spot in the Grind Session Final Four in 2023 … led his team to the Arizona 4A Championship in 2021 when he played with St. Mary’s High School … received the Scholar-Athlete Award during his final year at Bella Vista.
 
PERSONAL: Son of Anna and Rafael Martinez and Jason Fontenet … has a younger sister, Lennox, and younger brother, Blaise … plans to major in communication … lists winning the state championship as one of his favorite sports memories ... father was a standout point guard at Oregon State.
