• Matt Freeman finished his only season at UCSB averaging 9.4 points per game, fourth on the team.
• Scored in double-figures 13 times, including seven in a row at one point during the non-conference portion of the schedule.
• Scored a career-high 24 points and made a career-best 6-of-7 three-point attempts in a Feb. 1 win at Long Beach State in which he played just 19:22.
• Also had a 20-point game against Merrimack on Dec. 22 when he tallied 21.
• Scored 19 points and made 4-of-5 three-point attempts, and 7-of-8 free throws in a Dec. 3 win at Cal State Bakersfield.
• Paced the team with 49 three-point baskets on the season.
• His 128 three-point attempts are 20 more than the next closest teammate.
• Made at least one three-pointer in 25 of his 31 games.
• Hit two or more threes 16 times and three or more four times.
• Ranked third on the team with 59 assists.
• Passed off for a career-high seven assists on Nov. 16 vs. Rice University.
• Had three or more assists nine times, including six times during Big West Conference play.
• Had his first career double-double when he went for 10 points and a career-high 14 rebounds in a Mar. 5 win over Cal State Fullerton.
• Second on the team in total rebounds with 131, 4.2 per game.
• Had five or more boards 12 times, including a streak of five consecutive contests at the end of the non-conference portion of the schedule. 
• Led the team in free throw percentage at 88.2% and made 13-of-14 during Big West Conference play, 92.9%. 
• Made 21 consecutive free throws over one span.
• Played in all 31 games and made 29 starts.
• The only two games Freeman did not start were the two against CSUN.
• Averaged 25.3 minutes per game overall and 26.3 in 16 league games.
• Played 30 or more minutes three times and 27 or more 15 times.

Matt Freeman averaged 3.2 points and 1.5 rebounds in 32 games for OU during the 2018-19 season...Averaged 11.1 minutes per game...Hit 25 out of 69 three-point field goal attempts, 36.2%...Scored a season-high of 11 points in games against Notre Dame, Wichita State and Wofford, making a trio of three-pointers in each contest...Had seven games of multiple three-pointers...Scored a career-high 15 points against Northwestern State during his freshman season...In all, Freeman played in 84 games for the Sooners while averaging 2.8 points and 1.4 rebounds...Made 53 three-point baskets in his three seasons...Selected to the Academic All-Big 12 Team all three of his seasons in Norman...Graduated with a degree in accounting.

Freeman was ranked as a four-star recruit by Rivals.com and earned three stars from both Scout.com and 247Sports...Attended Westlake Boys HS where he averaged 31.0 points and 13.0 rebounds as a senior...Scored a combined 135 points in the final three games of his high school career...Averaged 17.8 points, 3.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists for the Asian Pacific Team at the 2015 Adidas Global Nations in Long Beach and was a member of the New Zealand squad which won the 2015 FIBA Under-18 3x3 World Championship in Hungary, defeating Argentina.
