Played for Kicks FC and Wellington wave and won numerous tournaments with both teams…Also played for Barton CC from 2010 to 2012 and lead the team as captain into an undefeated season, winning conference and region titles…Awarded with All-Conference, All-Region and All American Awards.

Attended Wellington High School and graduated in 2011…Played as forward, center back and center mid.

Gonzalo German Gelso was born on October 5, 1993 in Buenos Aires, Argentina … Parents are Maria Moreno and Hector Gelso… Has two older siblings, Mariano and Carla… Majoring in art and aspires to play soccer professionally, then work in the art field with clothing … When he is not on the field, he is either with his friends or looking at art… Can’t do without his phone and yogurt … Prior to games, he enjoys zoning out to music… Can best be described as “artsy,” “friendly” and “outgoing” … Most memorable sporting moment is playing on the same team as his brother and giving him an assist to his first goal back from an injury … Would like people to know “they should expect big accomplishments from the squad this year!” … Would love to play against Ronaldo and with Messi… Cheers for River Plate, Barcelona … Favorite athletes are Prince Boateng, Yaya Toure, Sergio Busquets and Javier Mascherano … Enjoys watching “Pearl Harbor,” “Across the Universe,” and “Gol TV News.”
