Appeared in 21 games, starting in 15 of them … Recorded his first career assist against UC Davis (Oct. 2), helping set up the game-winning goal … Played all 107 minutes of the Gauchos’ 1-0 overtime victory over UC Davis in The Big West Semifinal (Nov. 6).

CLUB
Played for Santa Barbara Soccer Club (2014-2019, 2020-2021) and Real SoCal Academy (2020-2021) … Reached the National Semifinals with SBSC in 2021, winning the Surf Cup, Far West Regional Championship, Cal South National Cup, and Coast Soccer Premier League on the way … Also won the California Regional League and Coast Soccer Premier League in 2018 … Trained with the Cal South Olympic Development Program in 2018-19 and was selected to the Regionals roster.
 
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended San Marcos High School … First Team All-CIF Division 2 as a senior … First Team All-Channel League in both his sophomore and senior years … Named team MVP in 2021 after helping the Royals claim the Channel League Championship … Also helped the Royals reach the 2018 CIF Division 2 Quarterfinals … Earned San Marcos’ AP Scholar Award for scoring a three or higher on three or more AP exams … Earned First Place in Santa Barbara County Wood Shop for Seating … Achieved the California Seal of Bilteracy.

PERSONAL
Son of Almeria and Tim Vom Steeg … Has three brothers, Justin, Carson and twin Caden, all of whom also played at UC Santa Barbara … Majoring in Economics … Hopes to play professional soccer after graduation before moving into the business world.
