Attended Monte Vista High School where he was part of two North Coast Section Championship winning teams for cross country and soccer his junior year ... as an individual, Tristan would end up taking third both his junior and senior years at the NCS Cross Country Championships, and he would also place 15th at the CIF State Meet in Cross Country for Division 2 ... In track, he would place fifth at the NCS Meet of Champions in the 1600, where he would run his personal best of 4:17.15 ...
