Max Koller

Max Koller joined the UC Santa Barbara men's tennis team as an assistant coach prior to the 2022 season.

Koller comes to UC Santa Barbara after spending the last five years as an assistant coach for Oklahoma, Stetson, and Bethune-Cookman. At those school, he served in a number of roles including recruiting, player development, data analysis, scouting, and community outreach. At Bethune-Cookman, he helped lead a lower-level Wildcats team to its first-ever HBCU National Championship and helped turn them into one of the top teams in the MEAC. 

He has also served the tennis community in a number of functions including being selected on a national scale to the ITA/USTA Mentorship and Coach Mentorship Development Program during his time at Stetson.

Koller received his BA in History from the University of Florida, where he spent time as a student assistant for the Gators' women's team ranked No. 1 in the nation and made an Elite Eight run in the NCAA Tournament. He more recently earned his MS in Leadership from Embry-Riddle University.
