Koyanagi had a promising year in his first season as a Gaucho as he erupted for a 10-5 overall singles record while playing primarily in the back half of the order...From the No. 3 spot, Koyanagi went 1-0 while posting a 4-2, 5-3 record on the fifth and sixth courts respectively...Undefeated in conference play with 5 triumphs... Capped off his regular season with 7 straight victories.

Koyanagi was sensational in his freshman and sophomore seasons at Ventura College...Over two seasons, he resided in the No. 1 spot with an eyeopening overall singles record of 46-1 while going 27-1 in dual matches...Posted an overall doubles record of 38-4 while primarily paired with Corey Karen...Named to ITA Collegiate All-Star Team...Earned ITA All-American honors...Championed ITA SoCal Regional Fall Championship Singles and Doubles.
