2014: One of three Gauchos to play in all 27 matches and saw action in 106 sets ... Continuing as the starting libero for the third consecutive year, led the team in digs (237) … Saw double-digit digs in nine matches … Ranked seventh in the MPSF in digs ... Finished his career with 724 digs, fifth-most in program history ... Had 24 digs at Long Beach State on Apr. 3, second-most single-match digs by a Gaucho in the rally scoring era.
2013: One of two players to play in all 31 matches. Continuing as the starting libero, led the team in digs (271). Ranked 13th nationally in digs per set by averaging 2.38. Set a career-high with 16 digs against Cal State Northridge. Swept up double digit digs in 13 matches. Was third on the team in assists (67), only behind the two setters.
2012: Played in all 26 of matches, picking up an average of 2.27 digs per set. As the starting libero, ended the season with 209 digs, with a season-high 14 against both Ohio State and Cal State Northridge. Also saw time at setter, tallying 31 of his 73 overall assists against Brigham Young on Jan. 7.
2011: A spiritual leader in the locker room, Chad appeared in four matches. Had seven digs against California Baptist on March 24.
