CLUB
Earned a Gold Medal in the 2008 Junior Olympics playing on theBalboa Bay Volleyball Club. Was a member of the club from2007-2010.

HIGH SCHOOL
Played three years at Esperanza High School, earning a letter eachyear. Coached by Isaac Owens and Mark Lovein. Was a first teamAll-CIF Division I selection in 2010 and a second-teamer in 2009.Named the MVP of the Sunset League in 2010, and was a member of thefirst team of the All-Sunset League in 2009. Earned nationalrecognition while playing for the Aztecs, being named an ESPN"Rise" Top 25 Recruit and being featured in Volleyball Magazine's"Fab 50." He led his team in kills in both his Junior and Seniorseasons, and he also placed in the top-5 in all of Orange County inthat category during those two years. Led his team to a SunsetLeague Championship in 2010, a year in which the Esperanza ended upthe State Championship runners-up.
