2014 All-MPSF Second Team

2014: The team captain, he was one of three Gauchos to compete in all 27 matches and 106 sets … Recorded an astounding 318 kills with an average of 3.0 kills per set … Totaled 41 aces, 18 assists, 41 service aces, 177 digs and 47 total blocks … Led the team with 385.0 total points on the year … Ranked third in the entire MPSF in aces ... Finished his career with 91 aces, tied with Bryan Berman (2003-07) for third-most in program history.

2013: Played in 28 matches and 83 sets. Ended the season leading the team in kills (246) and servce aces (28). Ranked 18th in the nation in aces per set by averaging .07. Recorded double figures in kills in 13 games, including each of the last eight games. Set career-highs with 23 kills vs Pepperdine and 12 digs vs Cal State Northridge. Racked up 108 digs and 39 total blocks throughout the season. 

2012: Saw action in 21 matches as a middle blocker. Totaled 75 kills and 30 blocks. Also put up 13 service aces and 23 digs. Finished the year with a .396 hitting percentage, highest among the Gauchos.

2011: Appeared in 25 matches and 67 sets, mostly as a serving specialist. Tied for second on the team with .13 service aces per set. Totaled nine aces on the year, good for fifth best among the Gauchos. Picked up three of his nine kills against Lewis on March 12 along with a pair of service aces and digs.

2010: Redshirt.

CLUB
Played for the Manhattan Beach Surf in 2009 ... Coached by John Beckwith ... Helped his team to a fourth place finish at the 2009 Junior Olympics in addition to being named to the 18 Open All-Tournament Team ... Played for the LBC from 2007-2008 and was coached by Derrick Lucero ... Received a bronze medal at the Junior Olympics in 2007 with the LBC.

Played all four years primarily as a middle blocker for coach Sean Shoptaw at Mira Costa High School ... Earned Scholar Athlete honors as well as being named to the honor roll all four years ...
