As a freshman, Haket played in all 26 games, scoring five goals to pair with his 14 assists…Recorded five steals and drew seven exclusions on the year.

High School
Brannan played four years of Varsity Water Polo under coach Tony Tovani …During his senior and junior year he led his team in assists and steals, earning him First Team NCS and First Team All-East Bay his senior year…For both his senior and junior year he was also awarded First Team EBAL...Because of Brannan’s contribution to the team the Wolves were able to win four EBAL League Championships and made NCS semifinal appearances twice; his senior and sophomore years and finals his freshman year...During his high school career he also competed in swimming, earning the status of six-time...All-American, breaking a record at NCS Championships and placing 2nd at State Championships twice...Brannan also excelled in the academic field maintaining a 3.91 GPA. He was honored with the ODP Nick Johnson award in 2016.

Brannan Kai Haket was born on March 4, 1998 in Walnut Creek, Calif...Son of Mark and Holly Haket…Has two brothers, Kyler and Dane, both who also play water polo…Throughout his polo career he was member of 680 Drivers Water Polo Club, winning the Junior Olympic silver medal twice under coaches Miles Price (18/Us) and Matthew Mundelius (14/Us)...Majors in communications at UCSB…Names the San Jose Sharks and San Francisco Giants as his favorite sports teams…Enjoys listening to the bands Sublime, The Dirty Heads, and Red Hot Chili Peppers…His favorite athletes are Patrick Kane and Lionel Messi.
