Attended Santa Barbara High School where he played water polo for coach Mark Walsh...Was a three-time All-Channel League selection and a two-time All-CIF Division I pick...Led the Dons for assists during his sophomore and junior...Served as the team captain during his senior year...His final season at Santa Barbara he led the team for scoring, assists, field blocks and steals...The Dons advanced to the CIF Division I semifinals and the finals of the Masters Tournament during his junior campaign...Was also a three-year varsity letterwinner in swimming...Graduated from Santa Barbara High's Multi-Media Arts and Design Academy.

Played for Santa Barbara Water Polo Club...Captured the silver medal at the Florida International Tournament as a 16 and under.
