As a freshman, he played in three games and finished the year with one assist and one earned ejection…He also attempted two shots.

High School
 Attended St. Ignatius College Prep; playing for Coach, Daniel Figoni. Earned four varsity letters...Scored 62 goals, 22 assists, and 31 steals during his junior season. Tallied 60 goals, 20 assists, and 40 steals in his senior season. Named to All WCAL First Team and CCS Honorable Mention in his senior year. Also competed in baseball for three years and swimming for one year. Awarded 2014 USA Water Polo Outstanding Academic All-American award. Max is also a member of UCSB Honors Program.
