Attended Coronado High School where he played water polo undercoach Randall Burgess...Scored 140 goals and tallied 107 assists...Earned All-CIF First Team, All-American Sixth Team, and Team MVP his senior year...Made appearances in three CIF championship games...Also competed in swimming and basketball...Earned All Academic Team his junior and sneior year.

Played for Del Mar Water Polo Club...Helped lead his team to second place at the Junior Olympics in 2013.
