Sean Gerard Keane was born Aug. 4, 2007 in San Diego … Son of Catherine and Gerard Keane … Has two older siblings: a brother, Aidan, who is a swimmer at Concordia Irvine, and a sister, Claire, who is studying at the University of Limerick in Ireland, where she also runs her own swim school … Majoring in Environmental Studies at UC Santa Barbara, he hopes to pursue a career in environmental activism and potentially become an environmental attorney to help create a cleaner and safer planet for future generations … Enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors, surfing, camping, hiking and snorkeling in his free time … Listens to Coldplay, Playboi Carti and Kneecap … Roots for Bayern Munich as well as Ireland’s National Teams … Irish swimmer Daniel Wiffen and English swimmer Adam Peaty are his favorite athletes.
