As a freshman, Sullivan appeared in one set in UCSB’s second match of the season at Colorado State (9/30/14).
HIGH SCHOOL
Played for four years under Alynn Wright at St. Francis High with teammate UCSB Noa Nightingale…As a senior, she led the Troubadors to a 34-9 record and a No. 14 statewide ranking…Individually, she led all of the state’s Div. Iright side hitters that year with a .353 hitting percentage and was selected to the CIF All-Conference team, Delta River All-League team, the Sacramento Bee All-Metro team, the Optimist Senior All-Star team, and was a PrepVolleyball.com’s Senior Ace… Regional semifinals against No. 13 Homestead, when she hit at a .474 clip and made the game-winning kill… As a junior, Sullivan dominated at the net as a middle blocker when she swung at a .440 hitting percentage in season when her team finished second in the CIF State Div. I Championship.

Sullivan competed with the Northern California Volleyball Club…She went to Junior Nationals with both the 17s and 18s teams.

Megan Katherine Sullivan was born on March 16, 1996 in San Jose, Calif. to parents Lori and Sean…She has a step-father Joe and an older brother Joey…Megan roots for the Green Bay Packers and the Oakland A’s…Her most memorable sports moments was going to State her junior year, and senior night at St. Francis High…Her favorite movies are Clueless, Frozen, and Hot Rod… Her favorite TV shows are The Office and Desperate Housewives…She enjoys reading The Fault in Our Stars, while her favorite authors are Nicholas Sparks, John Green, and F. Scott Fitzgerald…Megan’s favorite music acts include: The Neighbourhood, Nirvana, Jack Johnson, and Shwayze…In her spare time, Megan likes going to the beach and hanging out with friends…Her favorite athlete is Foluke Akinradewo…She plans on majoring in Global Studies with the intent of pursuing a career in global marketing.
