Played in all 32 games with seven starts…Earned first career all-conference honors…Second on the team with 10.3 points per game...Shot 45.1 percent from the field, third on the team and best among guards…Attempted the third-most shots with 295…Shot a team-leading 82.4 percent from the free throw line…Made a season-high two three-pointers in five games…Clocked 22.7 minutes per game…Collected a career-high 120 rebounds, 3.8 per game, easily the best among UCSB’s guards…Fourth on the team with 1.6 assists per game, finishing with a career-high 52 assists….Second on the team with 1.6 steals per game with a career-high 51 overall…Tallied the fifth-most steals in the big West schedule with 28…Scored in double figures in nine straight games, which was capped off with a season-high 23-point performance at UC Riverside…Grabbed a season-high eight rebounds twice…Picked up a season-best five steals twice, including UCSB’s 78-67 win over Cal Poly, which snapped a nine-game losing streak to the Mustangs…Had a career-high eight assists versus Long Beach State…Set a UCSB Big West Tournament record by going a perfect 6-6 at the foul line in the team’s win over UC Irvine in the opening round.
2014-15
In her junior season, Ware started 28 of UCSB’s 29 games and recorded a team-high 8.6 points per game and was second with 1.6 steals per game…Ware also clocked in an average of 29.1 minutes per game, second highest on the team…Her 45 swipes paced the Gauchos, while she led all guards and was second on the team with 115 rebounds (4.0 per game)…Ware set career-highs in many major single-game categories including scoring 21 points versus UC Irvine (1/29/15)…She also recorded career-highs of five assists against UC Riverside (2/19/15), five steals at Bakersfield (1/6/15), 10 field goals made versus UC Irvine (1/29/15), and going 7-7 at the foul line at Nevada (11/14/14)…She was second on the team with a 73.3 free throw percentage.
2013-14
As a sophomore, played in 27 out of 30 games…Scored a total of 120 points with an average of 4.4 points per game…She hit a career-high of 12 points three times, with the first coming against Occidental College (11/10/13) and the second happening against UC Riverside (1/23/14), and the final game happened versus Long Beach State (2/13/14)…In that same game against LBSU, Ware was two rebounds shy of a double-double…Ware recorded her first career double-double against UC Riverside (1/23/14) with 12 points and 11 boards…Recorded 13 assists with a total of 106 rebounds…Assist to turnover ration of 0.3….Averaged a 82.4% of free throws throughout the season…She was third on the team with a 84.2 free throw shooting percentage.
2012-2013
As a freshman, played in 31 games… Averaged 11.4 minutes per game… Recorded 16 assists with a total of 46 rebounds… Assist to turnover ratio of 1.0, second on the team… Shot 28.8 percent from the field and 50 percent from the line… Scored a career high 7 points while shooting 60 percent in a narrow victory over New Mexico St. (Nov. 14)… Hit the glass hard against Kansas St. on Dec. 29, pulling down 7 rebounds along with an assist… In Big West play, grabbed 20 rebounds while shooting 30.6 percent from the field… She also recorded 8 of her total 14 steals in conference play.
HIGH SCHOOL
Earned four varsity letters at Sacramento Charter High School under coach Michelle Massari…Jasmine was an all-league selection her sophomore and junior year…As a senior, she averaged 14.4 points, 7.9 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.0 assists per game…Named the Sacramento Bee Player of the Year…She also earned California State Athlete of the Week…Her team was Sac-Joaquin Section Champions two-straight years…She led her team to the State Championship semi-finals…Also competed in track and field…Excelled as a student, earning Student of the Week and was on the Honor Roll for three years.

Jasmine Lorraine Ware was born May 8, 1994 in Sacramento, Calif. to parents Darlene Boatwright and Houston Ware…Has an older sister, Crystal Ware and an older brother Demond Philson…Is majoring in feminist studies...Started playing basketball in eighth grade…Her favorite movies are “The Notebook” and “He Got Game”…Enjoys photography…Favorite TV shows are “The Fresh Prince of Bel Air” and “Martin”…The Lakers are her favorite team…Favorite athlete is Derrick Rose…Her favorite novel is “To Kill a Mockingbird”…Listens to Drake and Frank Ocean…Most memorable sports moment was winning the Section Championship her senior year…Also recruited by UNLV and UCLA.
