2016: A true freshman, Amo appeared in nine games and started seven ... Was a starter on the left side of the midfield to open the year, was later a left back and center back ... Only appeared in two games after Sept. 17 due to a groin injury ... Logged two goals and one assist on the year for five points ... Added 10 shots, three of which were on frame ... Ranked as the No. 20 freshman in collegiate soccer by Top Drawer ... Made his NCAA debut and scored his first career goal against Oakland on Aug. 26 in UCSB's season-opener ... Score came at the 4:59 mark of the game with Amo finishing off a DePuy flick ... Assisted on Kevin Feucht's 25th-minute opener in an eventual 5-2 win over San Diego on Sept. 2 ... Logged his second and final goal of the year on Sept. 9 against Butler.

Played four years at Salisbury School in Salisbury, Conn. ... Came to the states via the Right to Dream Academy ... Played center and outside mid for the Knights ... While playing club in Africa, won the Peace Cup in Norway and won the African qualifiication for the Manchester United Premier Cup, where he finished in third place.
