CLUB/HIGH SCHOOL Barrett will battle for a starting forward spot at UCSB…Plays for Sacramento United and has been a starting forward since 2007…Team Captain…Regional Champions in 2014…Took part in various regional training camps…Part of the Player Development Program from 2013-2014…Prepped at St. Francis High School…Named First All-Delta River League…Played in the Sacramento Republic FC "Futures Game" in 2014, an area all-star game…Selected St. Francis Offensive MVP as a sophomore in 2013 when she scored 11 goals and four assists in nine games...Also team MVP as a senior when she had 11 goals and six assists...Helped St. Francis to Sac-Joaquin Section titles in 2013 and 2014...In all, Barrett scored 33 goals and had 27 assists for 93 points in her career...Named Iron Woman Award-winner in 2015.

Hailey Noelle Barrett was born December 15, 1997 in Sacramento, Calif....The daughter of Robert and Robin Barrett...Also competed in cross country, track, swimming, volleyball, gymnastics and tennis...Was a member of St. Francis High's Honor Roll all four years...Is on the Athletic Director's Honor Rolle at UCSB...Favorite movies include The Blind Side, Safe Haven, Life As We Know It, Paul Blart Mall Cop and White Chicks...Favorite novels include The Great Gatsby, The Catcher in the Rye and The Book of Memory...Most memorable sports moment was wining the NPL Showcase with Sac United during her senior year...Favorite TV shows include Fixer Upper, The Bachelorette, Shameless and Criminal Minds...Favorited authors are F. Scott Fitzgerald and Nicholas Sparks...Roots for the Cleveland Cavaliers and her favorite athlete LeBron James...Hobbies include hiking, running, farmers markets, spending time with family and friends and baking...Also enjoys skiing with friends and family...Loves spending time and training with her brothers, who both play soccer as well...Enjoys her family's trips to Lake Tahoe...Is considering majoring in either business economics or something that would direct her into the health field...Hopes to become a physical therapist or a sports psychologist.
