Wendelken played in 10 matches as a freshman, her only starts being the two Big West Tournament games for UCSB...Scored two goals for a total of five points... In Wendelken's first start against UC Irvine, she scored what proved to be the game-winning goal just 20 seconds into the match, propelling UCSB into the Big West Tournament Finals.
