Jacq Caginia competed in eight matches, starting in seven of them.. Logged 663:06.. Allowed five goals in her eight games and posted a goals-against average of 0.71.. Had 17 saves and four shutouts.. Of the four, two of them were consecutive games against San Jose State and Texas and logged a full 90 minutes in three of them..Her season-high of 5 saves came in conference play against Hawai'i, followed by two non-conference games in which she had 4 saves a piece.
2014
Caginia played in three mathces during her sophomore campaign at UCSB...Logged 22:26 when she came during the second half of a 6-1 Gaucho win at Pacific, allowing the Tigers' goal...In her next match, Caginia started against Duquesne, produced a pair of saves and her first career shutout...Also played the second half of the team's season-finale against Cal State Fullerton, allowing a pair of goals...In all, Caginia was credited with one win, one loss and a 1.72 goals against average.
2013
Caginia first season with the team saw her appear against UC Davis, playing 61 minutes and producing one save.

Jacquelyn "Jacq" Caginia attended Saint Francis High School in Mountain View...Was a varsity starter all four years...Helped her team to CIF Central Coast Section championships as a freshman and sophomore...Was a two-time First Team All-West Catholic Athletic League honoree...Set school single season records for shutouts, goals against average and fewest goals allowed...Was chosen the the San Jose Mercury News All-Area Team twice...On the club level, Caginia played for the MVLA (Mountain View/Los Altos) Lightning for 10 years...Led the Lightning to the 2012 USYSA National Finals and the 2010 USYSA National Championship...Was an Adidas "Gold Glove" recipient...An ODP Region IV Player Pool member in 2008...ODF Region IV Camp from 2008-11 and ODP State Team from 2007-11...Was the ODP State Team captain from 2007-11...Helped the state squad to teh ODP Finals in 2010, semifinals in 2011, the Nike Friendship Cup title in 2009 and the Friendship Cup in 2008...A 15-time US Soccer Training Center attendee...Caginia is a USSF Grade 8 referee and voluteers for youth soccer and Special Olympics.
PERSONAL
Caginia was born August 22, 1995...The daughter of Jennifer Walker...Received High Honors and was on the Dean's List every semester at Saint Francis HS...National Honor Society, Service Club and Math Club member...Also competed in lacrosse, field hockey and track and field during her high school years...Could major in biology at UCSB and would ultimately like to get into medicine.
