Savannah Francis saw action in 9 matches during her senior year, all of them being conference games.. Started in one match..Tallied three assists for the year, including the 1-0 win over Cal Poly.
2014
Francis played in all 19 matches as a junior, starting 16...She finished the season with two goals and one assist for five points...Scored both of her goals in UCSB victories as she checked in with one apiece against Souther Utah and Duquesne...Assisted on Amanda Ball's first career goal in a win over Cleveland State...Attempted six shots on the season.
2013
As a sophomore, Francis played in 17 matches and started four...Had two assists, one each against Denver and UC Irvine...Tallied three shots and two points for the season.
2012
Francis was limited to a pair of brief appearances as a freshman because of injuries.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Francis attended La Serna High School in La Mirada, Calif....Played for Tessa Troglia...Selected the Whittier Daily News Player of the Year and First Team All-Area after helping La Serna HS to the CIF-Southern Section Division 5 championship game...Scored 10 goals and five assists and was named First Team All-CIF, Del Rio League Player of the Year and First Team All-Del Rio League...Also a First Team All-CIF and First Team Del Rio League selection following her junior season...Francis was chosen Del Rio League Defensive Player of the Year as a junior...In all, helped La Serna HS to four Del Rio League championships...Competed for Weset Coast Futbol Club.
PERSONAL
Francis is the daughter of Jack and Tami Francis...Born January 16, 1994 in La Habra, Calif....Also competed in track and field and was her team's Sprinter of the Year and Team Captain...Hopes to major in psychology and would like to get into sports as a career.
